natural fibre
We talk about this a lot, because its key to our brand. Everything we make is made from natural Australian merino wool.
This means that it is grown sustainably by sheep eating grass and that it will break down when discarded - unlike synthetic fibres which can last hundreds of years in land fill or in our waterways.
Natural is better, spread the word!
Packaging
Keeping new garments fresh is important, but there is a better way than using plastic bags.
We try to package all products in biodegradable bags. And currently 80% of our items are packaged like this.
We ship all online orders in biodegrabale satchels or cardbox boxes which breakdown when composted or can be recycled.
*One thing we are working on is how to best manage returns sent back to us in plastic bags.
Conscious manufacturing
We knit our garments in Australia & Vietnam. We know the knitters and work with them each season to deliver great products.
In Vietnam we work with conscious factories who work hard to be as sustainable as possible. In Australia we visit, adjust samples, problem solve, and share stories.
All the yarns we use in our products are OEKOTex 100 certified meaning there are no harmful products used in the dyeing process. Natural is better!
