Our story begins at the McIntyre farm in 1876. Located in the picturesque Southern Grampians region between the coastline and the mountains this area is home to some of the worlds finest wool producers - including us!
Growing up in a wool growing family we understand the nuances of working with the fibre, and this helps us source the worlds finest merino.
We started McIntyre to share our love of wool with you!
McIntyre was born after husband and wife & founders Ned & Raquel spent a year living and working on Ned's family's sheep farm.
They fell in love with the fibre and dreamed of starting 'a cool merino brand' that made knitwear and basics in fun colours.
In 2016 now living back in Melbourne, McIntyre the label was born and the rest history as they say!

In 2024 after an extensive rennovation we opened the McIntyre homestead up as an airbnb.
